Using AI as a tool for ADHD - tips from our clients,
Openings for individual and group coaching in August, & What is Time Blindness?
Hi there! Hope you are enjoying your summer so far! Out here in Pacific Northwest, it is a time to come alive and be outdoors as much as possible to build up our depleted Vitamin D stores! It is also a great time for coaching as we are more energized, and our mood and brain clarity is optimized by sunlight, fresh air and active lifestyle. So, reach out if this describes you and let's chat about the possibilities!

Every month, I would like to share an ADHD resource that some of my clients recommend, answer at least one ADHD related question that my clients ask, and share upcoming events (or maybe an inspirational quote:-). At any rate, I hope this short read is helpful to you.

This month, I have been learning so many ways that AI can be used as a tool for ADHD related challenges from my coaching group members. For example, feed in your resume and the job description of the position you are applying for, and it can write you a decent cover letter. Ask it to put together recipes or meal plans based on the ingredients you have on hand and it will do so. Ask it to summarize the key information for you and it will. Ask it to break down a task when you feel too overwhelmed to do so and voila! Ask it to draft a professional email to politely decline a task, and... you get the idea. The AI gives you an easy way to get started, and starting is the hardest thing for many people with ADHD. Once you get started, you can personalize and create your own recipe, email, cover letter and so on by playing to your strengths! Check out one such tool shared below!

Also check out our upcoming ADHD group coaching sessions! In addition to the comprehensive content and coaching, designed specifically to help adults with ADHD be successful, you have the opportunity to meet your tribe and share, support and learn from one another. If you love to learn, are socially motivated, and are naturally curious and creative, this is a program that you can thrive in!

A big part of ADHD Coaching is helping our clients deepen their understanding of and access to their own executive functioning skills. I hope to answer some of your questions on these executive functioning skills. I hope that having a better understanding of some of these concepts helps you

ADHD Questions Answered
What is Time Blindness?
We are all wired for time sensitivity on a continuum. A lot of people with ADHD are on the time insensitive side, or truly time blind. This means that the way that they perceive time passing internally, does not match how time really passes externally. This makes it harder for them to keep track of time and estimate how long something might take. Learning how to calibrate the internal perception to actual passage of time is key! Read this blog for a more detailed explanation of this key concept!
