Living by our Values

Each year, we give a percentage of our income
to a cause that aligns with our values
and makes the world a better place

One of my core values is “oneness” - we all share a common humanity and we are all interconnected.

The core values of our client community include fairness, kindness and love.

It hurts our hearts to see injustice, suffering and conflict  in our world, and we are constantly bombarded by this.

So, let's create a place, a safe harbor,  where we can shine light on people and programs that are making the world a better place - reducing conflict, distributing resources, and improving lives globally!

Calm Seas pledges to give a percentage of our income to a cause that aligns with our values and makes the world a better place.

This is a small but first step in the right direction for our vision.

As a Coach, I know that we all have needs, and when our needs are met, we can be the best versions of ourselves.

And there is no need more basic than the air we breathe and the water we drink.  So, this year, we are donating to the non-profit "Splash".

Calm Seas & You - Making a Splash Together!
In their own words:

Splash is at the forefront of a growing movement to ensure that children in urban poverty have the resources they need to thrive and realize their full potential. We design child-focused water, sanitation, hygiene (WASH), and menstrual health solutions with governments in some of the world’s biggest cities. Splash now serves over six hundred thousand kids in eight countries in Asia and Africa.

In 2017, we achieved a ten-year milestone of reaching every orphanage in China with water filtration systems, serving 1,100 orphanages across the country, while benefiting 190,000 children and adults. In addition, Splash projects have benefited 70% of the school children in Kathmandu, Nepal. Now, we are on track to ensure WASH coverage at 100% of schools in Kolkata, India, and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, through our most ambitious initiative yet: Project WISE (WASH in Schools for Everyone).
