Vidya has over 15 years of experience working as a Professional ADHD Coach,
Educational Consultant and Speech Language Pathologist.
Vidya is the founder of Calm Seas Coaching, LLC. She is an ADD Coach Academy Certified Coach Graduate (ACCG) having completed both a fully accredited Advanced coach training program and a rigorous professional review at ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA) under pioneers and leaders in the field of ADHD Coaching. Vidya also completed advanced training specifically in the Fundamentals of ADHD Coaching for Families at ADDCA.
Vidya is a Master Certified ADHD Coach (MCAC) with the Professional Association of ADHD Coaches (PAAC). This is the highest credential that an ADHD coach can achieve.
Vidya is also a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the the International Coach Federation (ICF). She abides by the Code of Conduct and Professional Ethics of both ICF and PAAC.
Educational Consultant and Parent Coach
Vidya worked as a Developmentalist at the National Association for Child Development (NACD) for over 7 years where her expertise included:
Specific strategies to strengthen and improve working memory by increasing auditory and visual sequential processing.
Optimization of the neuroplastic learning power of the brain by using high frequency and high interest activities in short bursts.
Communication and teaching strategies that match the individual's attention and processing style for maximum effectiveness and efficiency.
Vidya was also a Parent Coach at NACD. She consulted with parents on a weekly basis to provide clarity on their children’s home programs, guide them in completing these programs and help them overcome any obstacles that got in their way.
Speech Language Pathologist
Vidya is certified by the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), and licensed in the state of Washington. She has a specific interest in executive function challenges. She has learned and applied the following well known programs:

Speaker and Presenter
Vidya is a well received speaker and led the Seattle Eastside Help with ADHD Meetup group for over a year. She presented on ADHD topics ranging from Tackling Time Insensitivity, Empowering Emotional Regulation, Pinning Down Procrastination, Overcoming Overwhelm, the Rundown on Rumination and more. Her signature course is "Procrastination to Productivity! 6 Essential Executive Function Skills to Start, Do and Finish Tasks with ADHD.", Both her meetup group and webinar course have consistently received 5 star reviews from participants. She is known for presenting information and answering questions in a way that is easily understood, frequently including relatable examples, analogies and anecdotes. Vidya has also run the Parenting with ADHD in Mind workshops over the past 3 years.
